  • If you want to step back in time, visit the Landesmuseum fur Vorgeschichte, Dresden’s archaeological museum!
  • Head to the heart of Neustadt to see the Golden Horseman, a world-famous statue of Augustus the Strong, a former monarch of the region!

  • The Semperoper is Dresden’s main opera house. It was rebuilt after the huge bombardment of the Second World War and remains a magnificent and imposing building!
  • You wouldn’t believe that the Yenidze was once a cigarette factory! Today it’s just an office building, but it’s definitely worth a look! It’s a fantastic structure, ideal for architecture lovers!
  • Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden is one of the oldest and most famous museums in the world! It is made up of 12 different museums, all displaying amazing artefacts, art collections and historical documents!
  • If you want to have the time of your life, head to Elbamare Erlebnisbad, a fantastic water park where you can become a child again for an afternoon!
