The Vieux-Port: the best place to stay in La Rochelle

The Vieux-Port is by far the most popular district for tourists in La Rochelle.

In fact, this magnificent district is home to virtually all the great monuments and exceptional sites of the Porte Océane.

The Vieux-Port owes its legendary charm above all to the three majestic towers that make up the area: Tour de la chaîne, Tour de la lanterne and Tour Saint-Nicolas.
