Visit the Japanese Garden for free
The Japanese garden is a real haven of peace that transports you out of time in the Clingendael park.
Twice a year (six weeks in spring and two in autumn), this garden offers you the chance to enjoy the most incredible scenery.

The Peace Palace
What could be more natural than to find the Peace Palace in The Hague?
As its name indicates, this group of buildings embodies the principles of pacifism and universal peace. It is with this in mind that the construction of the Palace was carried out; the result of an international cooperation where each country did its part.
During your visit to this magnificent monument, you must see the International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Peace Palace Library, and the Hague School of International Law.
Fisherman’s wife of Scheveningen
We were very moved to discover this statue of “Kniertje”, in the center of Scheveningen, which was erected as a tribute to this strong and determined woman, who tirelessly looked to the horizon in the hope of one day seeing her dear and loving husband, who had gone to fish for his fate.
The poem inscribed on the pedestal is simply overwhelming; to be read without moderation!
Salamander’s Sawmill
At the Salamander Sawmill, you will learn more about windmills than anywhere else. We really enjoyed the staff’s explanations of how this wonderful mill works, its eventful past, and the efforts to restore it over time.
We recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
Palace Promenade
Turn your shopping day in The Hague into a source of absolute happiness by going to the beach shopping center; The Palace Promenade Scheveningen.

Take a break and enjoy the nice weather and the quiet in the center of The Hague. No, it’s not a joke; the Hofvijver is your only chance to relax a bit so close to so many busy tourist sites.
But it’s much more than that! In addition to the tranquility that characterizes it, it offers you an interesting view of the Binnenhof, an old building that is now the office of the Dutch Prime Minister, and home to the Senate and Parliament
You can also admire the Mauritshuis museum in the distance and the skyscrapers in the background.
Westbroekpark
We may think we know it well, but we are always surprised every time we go there!
You should go there in spring to witness the resurrection of nature in all its splendor, in this magnificent little corner of paradise. It’s hard to believe that this timeless space actually exists in a city like The Hague, but it does.
We spent hours in this large park with a thousand and one roses and we loved watching the ducks swim. We can’t recommend it enough.
